This month we welcome Ralph C to team Soulsupplement and if his first Ep is any indication of what’s to come this young producer from Italy has a bright future ahead of him.
We begin with the original mix of “Ecstasy”, a four on the floor deeper cut that will definitely get people moving towards to dance floor. Smooth synth lines and a sexy vocal frame this one quite nicely but it’s the bass line that ties the track together with a perfect bow on top. A good track for pretty much anytime of night depending on where you’re at and how the crowd rolls.
The original mix of Ralph C’s “Inside” rounds out this two tracker with a little more energy an bit more movement rhythmically. The percussion is driving while at the same time not overbearing and the keys work in concert with the drum tracks almost working as an extra percussion track. Ralph cuts in vocal lines and stabs that are intertwined with the bass which falls into place with the rest of the parts to lend a hand in moving the floor.
Ralph’s “Peal Of Trumpet” is served up last and is a big bottomed groover that will keep the floor’s attention without any problems. Throw back bass, circa 97 synth lines and cheeky little percussion bits run throughout this one.
